The Stringbeans Quartet has been bringing their diverse and electrifying blend of classical and pops music to Edmonton since 1999. One of Edmonton’s premier string quartets, the Stringbeans continue to entertain audiences with everything from Bach to The Beatles, from Pachelbel’s “Canon” to “Paint it Black.” Mark, Robin, Leigh, and Ryan love adding new repertoire to their program so that audiences are always hearing something new! This versatility has made the Stringbeans sought-after performers for a range of Edmonton-area events. The Quartet has been delighted to be invited to perform for some of Alberta’s most distingushed celebrations, including Mayor Stephen Mandel’s election night party, and the Bailey Theatre’s centennial re-opening in Camrose in 2010. Most recently, the Stringbeans opened for Johnny Reid in concert at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton. Whether they are playing for you at a reception, party, corporate function, wedding, or concert performance, the Stringbeans will bring glamour and their own unique vivacity to your event.
