Leigh is delighted to be continuing her musical career with the Stringbeans as second violinist. She began studying violin at age 5 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and over the following fifteen years enjoyed a dynamic career there, playing with the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra, the University of Manitoba Orchestra, and the Rembrandt String Quartet with Natalia Zielinksi, Andrea Bell, and Daniel Scholz. Leigh relocated to Edmonton in 2005 to pursue graduate studies in the Department of English at the University of Alberta. Now an instructor at the University and Norquest College, she relishes the chance to continue her life in music with the Stringbeans Quartet through their remarkable blend of classical and pops music.
