Ryan

Ryan is respected as one of the most sought after freelance violinists and choral tenors in the Edmonton area. He started studying violin at the age of 5 in Edmonton, Alberta where he continued his musical education, and, after competing in many regional festivals and competitions in Western Canada, he joined the Department of Music at the University of Alberta. Here, he completed undergraduate music and education degrees in 2008.

Ryan currently teaches full time as a junior high music teacher in St. Albert, Alberta. He is the current concertmaster of the John Cameron Entertainment orchestra (Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree) and also sings professionally with different choirs in the Edmonton area. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.

Ryan joined the Stringbeans as first violinist in 2009. He thoroughly enjoys playing with the ensemble, and is looking forward to future projects and endeavours with them.
